One Aldwych hotel in Covent Garden has launched a thrilling season of Film & Fizz dinner and movie evenings in a new partnership with Curzon Cinemas. Running Fridays and Saturdays, Film & Fizz with Curzon offers the opportunity to watch a great film (many still on general release) with a glass of Champagne Lallier GrandeRéserve in the hotel’s 30-seat Screening Room and savour a three-course meal in Indigo restaurant.
The spring season’s highlights include A Bigger Splash, the highly entertaining Hail, Caesar!, High-Rise starring Tom Hiddleston, the comical Eddie the Eagle, and the much anticipated Miles Ahead, a biopic of the legendary Miles Davis starring Don Cheadle.
Film & Fizz with Curzon is also introducing second film-only screenings on Fridays and Saturdays at 9pm, along with a glass of Champagne and popcorn (no dinner included).
Indigo restaurant dinner menus for Film & Fizz with Curzon by Executive Chef Dominic Teague celebrate the best of British with modern, seasonal dishes such as roasted butternut squash, rapeseed emulsion, hazelnuts and truffle; braised shoulder of organic Rhug Estate lamb, ruby chard and roasted onion; and Valrhona chocolate mousse, roasted figs and honeycomb.
And if you want to make a whole night of it, One Aldwych offers a Film & Fizz with Curzon accommodation package for the ultimate getaway. It is priced from £486 + VAT for two people sharing an Aldwych room including the dinner and cinema experience and breakfast the following morning.
