The Arbuturian lowers its flag to half-mast to mark the passing of The Duke of Edinburgh. The Queen’s consort, public servant, patron, president or member of over 780 organisations, founder and chairman of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. He was the longest-serving consort of a reigning British monarch and, two months short of his centenary, the longest-lived male member of the British royal family.
